The Gravity Riders Organization of Arizona was established to promote rider education, trail advocacy, and recreational opportunities specific to the gravity community in Arizona. The gravity rider community includes downhillers, freeriders, all-mountain riders, dirt jumpers and bmx riders of all ages. The organization stands to provide a united voice for the gravity rider community to reach out, communicate, and work with city, county and state parks and land managers.
GRO-AZ is dedicated to creating, enhancing, protecting and maintaining gravity riding opportunities throughout Arizona by building strong, lasting relationships with local, state and federal land managers.
GRO-AZ believes that rider education, etiquete and awareness are all cornerstones for building a strong, dedicated and responsible rider community as well as lasting relationships with local, county and state land managers.
GRO-AZ believes that good trail design and ongoing trail maintenance are the biggest factors in mitigating the environmental impact that occurs on multi-use trails and strives to build sustainable trails available for use by all user groups .
